About

Eirini Anagnostopoulou Parenting Coach

Hello!! I am Eirini!

My parents gave me this name, which means Peace in Greek, for the sake of World Peace.

I am from Chania, Greece, and I live in Uckfield, UK with my wonderful son and husband.

I love dancing, reading, eating, sleeping and being in nature.

I have worked for many years as a Primary School Teacher and Disability Support worker in Greece. I always had great respect for children and the ability to empathize with them.

The most beautiful compliment I have ever had was from one of my students telling me ‘Miss, you have not forgotten how it is to be a child’. And it is true. I remember how I felt in many incidents of my life, and what impact the words and actions of my parents and educators had on me.

Having grown up in a quite dysfunctional family, I was never very fond of becoming a mother. Until I met my husband who made me feel trust for the first time in my life and inspired me to take the huge step of having a baby. I will eternally be grateful to him for that because maternity has been the most profound (and most difficult at the same time) experience and my son is the greatest motivation for me to become a better person.

I didn’t want to use the same parenting methods my parents used for me. So, I started my research concerning child development and parenting, through which I gained great insight into how much scientific knowledge there is available for every aspect of parenting.

Me and my husband did our best to raise our son with empathy, respect and understanding.

However, there were moments when, even though we knew “The right thing to do” we could not practice it.

Coming to the UK I decided to change careers, and since I can’t imagine myself not being in service to children, I chose to try the route of Parent Coaching.

In December 2022 I had the blessing to find The Jai Institute for Parenting and train with them. And this is when the real transformation started . Through this training, and being coached myself, I managed to embody the knowledge I had so far.

I realised that my triggers, limiting beliefs, self criticism and stress were getting in the way of me being the mother I wanted to be, and having a calm, joyful life with my family.

As I continue my self inquiry and growth, I now support parents in discovering their own path to happiness by creating an environment that promotes thriving for every member of their family, through connection, awareness, compassion and unconditional love.

Since I deeply believe that we parents are the world’s best chance to change, I hope that this way, I will do justice to my name, and do my part towards a better world, and why not, Peace on Earth!

I will be more than happy and grateful to have you with me on the way!
